Collection of 22 ‘very rare’ luxury cars, including Porsche and Ferrari, found in former warehouse

Luxury car enthusiasts are excited by the remarkable discovery of 16 Ferraris and 6 Porsches inside a former warehouse in Belgium.

The owner of the Brussels warehouse found the 22 high-end vehicles and contacted Oldtimerfam, a car collection organization, to evaluate them.

“It was a lot of very rare Ferraris and Porsches,” classic car specialist Xavier Molenaar told Jam Press.

All of the cars were wrapped in covers and appeared to be in fantastic condition, Molenaar said.

Among the hidden treasures were a large number of Ferrari Testarossas, he noted. Testarossas were produced from 1984 to 1996, and used models sold online for up to $180,000.

The most common vehicle in the collections were the Ferrari Testarossas. Jam Press/@oldtimerfarmbv A yellow Ferrari F512M was found in the warehouse, of which there may only be 10 in the world. The car specialist said that different versions and colors of the vehicle were found, according to Oldtimerfam.

Some Porsche 911 cars were seen in Turbo and “S” models, newer versions of which sell for up to $250,000.

Most of the vehicles in the warehouse were rare finds, Molenaar said.

“Although these models have disappeared from the streets and have been the subject of intense searches by collectors, they are occasionally found at a fair,” he told Jam Press.

The rarest car in the collection was the Ferrari 365 GT4 BB, built in the 1970s. One model sold at Sotheby’s in 2022 for $276,000. Another rare find was a Ferrari 550 Maranello.

Also in the warehouse was a yellow Ferrari F512 M, of which only 10 are rumored to have been made, according to Molenaar.

“In this exceptional and unrestored state, it is perhaps the only one in the world,” he said.

The 22 vehicles were moved to Oldtimerfarm in Aalter, Belgium, where they will be completely restored and then put up for sale, according to Oldtimerfam.
