Coromandel Express accident live update

At Bahanaga station in the Balasore region of Odisha, Coromandel and Bengaluru-Howrah Express trains derailed and collided with a freight train, killing more than 200 people and injuring 900 others. The overturned cars of the ultra-fast train were packed with stranded passengers. A railway official cited preliminary reports in saying that the Coromandel train, which was involved in the accident, was traveling on the main line. Rescue efforts are in progress. The South East Circle Railway Safety Commissioner would be in charge of the high level inquiry into the train tragedy in Odisha which has been launched by the railways.
