Crossing borders! Japanese opens Honduran food restaurant in his country

Tajaditas, tamales, baleadas and even tortillas are part of the menu of a catracha food restaurant that is located in Japan, the Asian country.

@midoriestrella0710, who is the daughter of a Japanese man and a Honduran woman, shared a review through TikTok about her visit to the establishment called “Catracho.”

Although he did not reveal the name of the Asian, he explained that he lived for several years in Honduras and when he fell in love with its gastronomy, he returned to his country to start a business.

“Everything is handmade by him, baleadas, tajadas, tamales and tortillas with beans,” he said while showing the delicious dishes he tasted.

In the images you can see the theme of the place with several shirts from the Honduran national team and even a National Flag with the 5 stars.

“Honduras is solid,” said the Japanese man who sells a baleada for 800 yen, that is, 120 lempiras.

“A Japanese person in love with Honduran gastronomy and who says ‘Honduras is solid’ is priceless”; “Flour tortillas turn out better than me, who is Honduran” and “Excellent! Thank you for making my country’s gastronomy known,” are some comments.
