What exactly happened at the MP’s Ram Raja Mandir?
The extensive consecration ceremony in Ayodhya began at approximately 12:00 p.m.
Ahead of the important event, residents of Orchha town in Madhya Pradesh decorated the Shri Ram Raja Mandir with 5,100 earthen lamps, contributing to the vibrant festivities.
Ayodhya is decked up to commemorate this historic day and hosts a variety of events across the holy city to mark this special occasion.
Significantly, Pran Pratishtha ceremonies began on January 16, beginning with ‘Prayaschit’ and Karmakuti puja on that day. On January 17, the idol of Lord Ram was presented at the premises.
Subsequent events unfolded with the installation of the idol on the spectrum of the Ram Temple shrine on January 18.
Aushadhivas, Kesaradhivas and Ghritadhivas followed the next day, and Sugardhivas, Fruitdhivas and Pushpadhivas were held on 20 January.
The culmination continued with the Madhyadhivas and Shayadhivas on January 21.
