To celebrate his first milestone on the platform, Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast surprised his followers by announcing a giveaway. The content creator is known for offering great prizes to people through his videos. So, it came as no surprise when he suggested a giveaway to celebrate his follower count.
However, people were shocked when Jimmy mentioned that to celebrate his Threads milestone he would be gifting a Tesla to one of his followers on the platform. People found this move a bit like an attempt at trolling, as Tesla mogul Elon Musk has openly expressed his distaste for Mark Zuckerberg’s threads as a Twitter rival.

Two days earlier, Jimmy had shared a photo of himself with a white Tesla that he customized and ordered to have a Threads logo stamped on the hood of the car. With the image, he announced the draw.
