If you have a pet dog in the house, you imagine it’ll bark in the event of a robbery or at an unwelcome entry. A Golden Retriever was seen playing with the burglar and even seeking a belly rub in a recent viral video from the United States.
On July 15, the incident occurred in San Diego, California. The crook is seen taking a bicycle in the viral footage. The Golden Retriever approaches him as he exits the garage with the stolen bike. Unexpectedly, rather than being terrified or fleeing, the thief interacts with the dog, even giving it belly rubs.
He temporarily abandons the bike inside the store and strikes up a polite discussion with the dog, saying, “Hi buddy.” At one point, he said, “You are the coolest dog I’ve ever known” and “I love you too.”
To add a funny twist, the robber questions the dog, inquiring about his father and then audibly shouting out ‘dad,’ apparently in an attempt to summon the dog’s owner.

Later, the robber flees with the 2019 black Electra 3-speed bicycle, which is estimated to be worth $1,300 (Rs 1.7 lakh).
The footage was released on Instagram by the San Diego Police Department. They also seek assistance from citizens.
The caption of the video stated, “The suspect is described as a white male, last seen wearing a blue and white hat, grey shirt, blue shorts, and orange athletic shoes. He was carrying a black and blue backpack. Do you recognize this person or the stolen bike? Can you provide any details that may assist in identifying the suspect? Any information, no matter how minor it might seem, could prove invaluable.”
