Drunk sisters throw tantrum after being told they couldn’t board Aer Lingus flight to Ireland: video

Two drunk sisters were forcibly arrested at Newark Airport on Saturday after throwing a tantrum when they were told they were not allowed to board their flight to Ireland.

Witness video showed the distraught adult women going through a range of emotions before being dragged out of the airport by police officers, whom they allegedly threatened during the chaotic scene.

“Can anyone help us? Please someone help me. Please!” one of the women shouted as she jumped past the door handlers.

The couple began acting “erratically” around 8pm when they were told they were not allowed to board their flight to Dublin, according to a TikTok that has racked up more than 680,000 views.

A blonde woman burst into tears at the realization, and her brunette sister tried to comfort her by promising that they could still make their trip to the Emerald Isle.

“I’m not going to let you down. We’re going to Dublin! said the supportive sister.

The blonde woman identified herself as a lawyer and initially “warned the police” that there would be consequences for not allowing them to board her flight, but ultimately decided it would be best to simply leave the airport.

His sister, however, was not willing to give up without a fight.

He ran up to the gate attendants and demanded they let them get on the flight “right now.”

After realizing that the crew was not going to budge, the woman turned to the crowd of travelers at the airport for help.

Her embarrassed sister tried to put her hand over the deranged woman’s mouth to stop her from screaming after a police officer approached to calm the duo down, but none of her efforts seemed to help.

Police officers then dragged both women out the door.

The brunette tried to resist the escort and fell to the ground, and the officer took the opportunity to handcuff her.

A spokesperson for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey confirmed that its officials responded to a “disturbance” by “two intoxicated women who were denied boarding on an Air Lingus plane.”

“Officers attempted to de-escalate the situation, but the women ignored their instructions,” the spokesperson told the Daily Dot.
