Who captured the magnificent view of the Pandal?
The glory of the festival was captured on camera by an X user, Safir. The user was absolutely captivated by the beauty and creativity used to create the idea behind this exclusive pandal design.
What was so special about the Pandal?
Safir was in love with the idea of the pandal design, which was inspired by the city’s love for street food, particularly puchkas (golgappe for Delhiites and pani puri for Mumbaikars). The entire abode was covered with the iconic leaf plates that are used as utensils at any Puchka stall. There were also Puchkas locked inside display cases that were used as tapestries on the walls of the pandal.
Furthermore, the statue of Goddess Durga was also placed inside a large round globe that probably emulated a puchka. The impressed Twitter user congratulated the creators of the pandal and wrote: “I am amazed by the depth of creativity in India. An entire pandal of puchkas is made here with artists from Bengal. I wish to work in this area to highlight the rich creativity of India. Tala Park. I love my India.”
