Enrique Dussel Ambrosini, Argentine naturalized Mexican philosopher, considered one of the fathers of the Philosophy of Liberation, died on November 5 at the age of 88.
His death was reported at around 8:50 p.m. and the news was confirmed by his own son, Enrique Dussel Peters, who communicated the sad news via networks.

Who was Enrique Dussel?
Enrique Dussel was born in Mendoza, Argentina, on December 24, 1934, but since 1975 he arrived in Mexico as an exile and some time later obtained the nationality of that country.
He is recognized in the world for being one of the founding fathers of the Philosophy of Liberation, a movement that criticizes classical philosophy, which it classifies as Eurocentric, and proposes thinking from the perspective of the oppressed and the periphery.
Regarding his academic training, it is highlighted that he has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Cuyo, Mendoza, a Doctor in Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid, a Doctor in History from the Sobornne in Paris and a degree in Theology in Paris and Münster.
Much of his professional career was spent in Mexico, where he was a professor of ethics and political philosophy at the UNAM, a professor and researcher at the Department of Philosophy at the UAM Iztapalapa, and he was interim rector of the National Autonomous University of Mexico City ( UACM).
