A 59-year-old man from the Epping area was taken into custody by detectives later that day on suspicion of having sexual contact. He was later released on police bail until Thursday, August 28, while detectives continued their investigation of him. Sullivan, who is among the 130 richest Britons and has an estimated net worth of £500 million, is the chief executive of the City of Birmingham. However, when the St Andrews team was demoted from the Premiership to the Championship at the end of the previous season, angry Blues supporters called for Sullivan’s resignation.
Sullivan revealed that he was thinking about his future at St Andrew’s alongside club chairman David Gold, owner of the Ann Summers sex parlor network, raising new expectations that he could contribute to the team in his hometown.
