Florida Republican Party Chairman Christian Ziegler recorded a graphic video of himself engaging in a sexual act with the woman who accused him of rape, according to a police report and affidavit.
Ziegler recorded the video with his cell phone after showing up alone at the woman’s apartment on October 2, according to the Florida Trident. She claims the activity was consensual.
In the short video, Ziegler’s accuser is seen “leaning over a bedroom furniture” and is heard telling the Florida Republican Party chairman to “climax in her mouth instead of his new shirt,” according to sources. medium.
As part of the criminal investigation into the chairman of the Sunshine State Republican Party, the Sarasota Police Department is now in possession of that video recording.
The Republican leader’s wife, Bridget Ziegler, confirmed to Sarasota police that she and her husband had previously had a consensual three-way sexual encounter with the alleged rape victim, a woman whom Christian Ziegler has known for 20 years, according to shows the affidavit.
“I’m sorry, I was mainly for her,” the accuser told Christian Ziegler in a text message on the day of the alleged rape, referring to Bridget, according to the affidavit.

The message came after the chairman of the Florida Republican Party asked the alleged victim for his address and informed him that “probably just me this time” because his wife was no longer free to participate in the meeting.
Surveillance video from the apartment shows Ziegler knocking on the alleged victim’s door and entering, according to the Florida Trident, which appears to contradict at least part of the woman’s version of events.
“The victim opened the door to her apartment to walk her dog and Christian was standing outside in the hallway,” the Sarasota police affidavit says. “Christian entered the apartment, he bent the victim over the bar stool and vaginally penetrated her with her penis.”
Both the woman and the Florida Republican Party chairman leave the apartment together after the alleged rape, and surveillance footage allegedly shows Ziegler returning to his truck and the woman crossing the street to get food.

As detectives listened, the alleged victim contacted Ziegler weeks after their encounter and told him, “I don’t agree with what happened the other day between us.”
“Oh. That’s not good,” Ziegler responded, according to the affidavit. “You’re my friend. I’ve known you for about twenty years; Ha ha ha.”
“Yes, I know, but that was not right and you did not bring her or do that to me,” the accuser responded.
“[Bridget] was inside. Then I couldn’t because there was no response,” Ziegler said. “She said next time. But I understand. His [sic] My friend, I actually like you as a person, I am very sorry that you are angry, but I can leave you alone if you prefer.”
When the alleged victim told Ziegler in one of the controlled calls with authorities that he sexually assaulted her, he responded by saying, “Those are big words, please no, no, I didn’t do it. You invited me in, that’s all. “I didn’t do it at all and I don’t ever want you to feel that way.”

Ziegler, who is facing growing calls to resign, maintains that he had consensual sexual relations with the woman on the day of the alleged rape.
The Florida Republican Party will hold an emergency meeting on Sunday where a vote is expected to take place on whether to oust Ziegler as chairman.
“I don’t see how we can continue with that ongoing investigation, given the seriousness of those situations. I think he should step aside,” Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said earlier this month. “I think you should take care of that.”
Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), Florida House Speaker Paul Renner (R), Florida Senate President Kathleen Passidomo (R), and the Pinellas County Republican Party have also requested Ziegler’s resignation.
“This is the topic of every water cooler conversation and every lunchroom conversation,” state Rep. Spencer Roach (R-North Fort Myers) told the New York Times on Monday. “People are confused, bewildered and frustrated.”
“These people for years have been considered models of conservative Christian values,” Roach added, referring to Ziegler and his wife. “This is a huge breach of trust.”
Bridget Ziegler, a DeSantis-backed Sarasota School Board member and co-founder of the parents’ rights group Moms for Liberty, may learn her fate on the school board Tuesday, when it holds a meeting on whether to recommend that he resign from office. . will take place, according to Politico.
