- If in case you added more than one security question, you can skip the previous one and answer the next one (since I had added 2 security questions to my Yahoo account, so I had the option to answer any one). Enter the answer to the security question and then click ‘Verify’.
- Once this is done, you will be allowed to create a new password for your account. After that, you can sign out and then sign in to your Yahoo account with the new password.

Another option for Yahoo account recovery if you’ve lost access to your phone number or email address and can’t reset your password is to get live customer support for Yahoo. You can contact Yahoo support officers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 800-305-7664.
But here is a catch. This option is only for users of Yahoo Plus (Yahoo’s paid service). If you’ve upgraded to Yahoo Plus, you can call them directly for live support, even for a minor issue like changing your password.
