Career
Gautam started his career as a model and appeared in several commercial photoshoots and print advertisements. He made his acting debut with the show Jahan Pyaar Mile on Zee TV. In 2002 he debuted in Bollywood with the film Annarth. In 2005, he appeared in another film U, Bomsi & Me, Agyaat and Aksar 2.
Gautam rose to fame after playing the lead role opposite Jennifer Winget in the Star Plus channel’s show Saraswatichandra. The show was produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He received many nominations for this role and also won Zee Gold Awards, Indian Telly Awards and Lions Gold Awards in the Best Actor category.
Gautam was a part of many serials like Baa Bahu Aur Baby, Lucky, Princess Dollie Aur Uska Magic Bag, Betiyaan Apni Yaa Paraaya Dhan, Rubi and Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na, etc. He also played supporting roles and television cameos in the Mata Ki shows.
