In the end, George Santos suffered through the jaw-dropping drama of the season finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and walked away.
How fitting for a disgraced former congressman who was also supposedly a fabulous former drag queen in Brazil named Kitara Ravache.
Santos was the craziest show in Congress and, in 2023, what a remarkable achievement that is.

Yes, Santos is a fraudster, a thief, definitely a liar and he did a disservice to concerned voters in Queens and Long Island. He is the sixth person expelled from the House: a national disgrace.
It was also totally fun.

Remember when Santos claimed to be Jewish and then when someone pointed out that he, um, isn’t, he clarified that he meant “Jewish.”ish”? This is a lost episode of “Seinfeld.”
We’ll never forget how the fashion hustler wore a $1,350 Burberry jacket, $695 Ferragamo loafers, and a $9,759 Cartier Santos de Cartier watch (with apologies to the Syosset voter whose Visa probably paid for that outfit) in the House of Representatives. Representatives and still looked like his college assistant.

That manic, screeching laugh during interviews, as if he were a “Batman” villain locked up in Arkham Asylum, will resonate in the inner ears of New Yorkers for years to come.
He even falsely claimed to be one of the producers of the flop 2011 Broadway musical “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.” This guy is A character from “The Producers” by Mel Brooks!
He reviews hundreds of films and theater shows each season, and Santos tops them all.
Santos was supposedly a drag queen in Brazil named Kitara Ravache.
Even now, I’m not entirely convinced that we won’t soon learn that the man was Sacha Baron Cohen masked all along.
While removing George from Congress is good for New York, I hope this is not the last time we see this fascinating circus act.
There may be an opening for Kitara at Lips Drag Queen Show Palace on East 56th Street.
