Ghanshyam Nayak was an Indian television actor and theater artist. He is known for his role as Nattu Kaka in the television show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Throughout his career, he has worked in more than 200 Hindi and Gujarati films. Nayak passed away in Mumbai due to cancer on October 3, 2021.

Ghanshyam Nayak was born on May 12, 1944 in Undhai, a small town in Gujarat. At a very young age, he came to Mumbai to pursue his film career. He lived in Mumbai along with his family in the Malad area of Mumbai. His family consists of his wife Nirmala, a housewife, and three children.

Career
Nayak was popularly known as Nattu Kaka, but in his career spanning over five decades he played hundreds of characters, none of which were successful. In his career, he had seen in many films like ‘Beta’, ‘Ladla’, ‘Krantivir’, ‘Barsaat’, ‘Ghatak’, ‘China Gate’, ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Lajja’, ‘Tere Naam’ ‘, ‘Khaki’ and ‘Chori Chori’ (mainly cameos). He worked with notable actors like Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit and Amitabh Bachchan etc.
Nayak gained fame in the 2008 television show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in which he played the role of Natwarlal Prabhashankar Undhaiwala AKA Nattu Kaka. He had been associated with the program for a decade.
