Career
Manek began her career as a model. She began her career with the Bollywood film Na Ghar Ke Na Ghaat Ke, playing the role of daughter of Sankata Prasad Tripathi (played by Om Puri). She later became a household name through Star plus’s popular serial Saath Nibhana Saathiya as an actress opposite Mohammed Nizam. She left the show after working for two years, after which Devoleena Bhattacharjee continued the role of her.
In 2012, she participated in the fifth season of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Ja. In 2015, she appeared in the Sab TV series Jeannie aur Juju, for which she won the Kalakar Awards for Best Actress. She was later seen as a guest in the television series Balika Vadhu, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Badi Doooor Se Aaye Hain and Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai. She recently worked in Star Bharat’s television series Tera Mera Saath Rahe.
