This Monday, thousands of Hondurans were surprised with the announcement of the death of María Isabel Montoya, better known as the “mamita” of TikTok.
Her grandson, Jonathan Osorto, reported that this Sunday the lady left this world “with regret after being in good health.”
This Tuesday morning his body was buried in his native Choluteca, southern Honduras, where he was accompanied by his loved ones and close friends.
Through the cameras of Metro TV, the local channel of ‘the sultana of Honduras’, a video was shared showing the caravan of cars that followed the lady’s body to the cemetery.
Likewise, other social media users shared images from inside the holy field, always from afar and respecting the pain of the young content creator.
“We love you mommy, you had millions of grandchildren who made us very happy”; “flying high, beautiful mommy”; “I have cried as much as when I lost my paternal grandmother” and “May God receive her in her Holy Glory” are some of the comments she receives.
So far, her grandson has not revealed many details about the reasons for the death of Mrs. Isabel, 86, who suffered from heart disease and hypertension.
