A spoilsport “pastor” from Texas stood outside an elementary school dressed as the Grinch holding a sign that said “Santa is fake.” Jesus is real,” in an attempt to steal Christmas joy from the children inside.
David Harold Grisham impersonated the beloved Dr. Seuss character in front of Sleepy Hollow Elementary School in Amarillo, Texas, earlier this week, professing his belief toward children and parents he believes are telling lies.
The less-than-cheerful man claimed he was assaulted outside the school while “police showed up in force” to distract him from his mission and prevented him from “exercising my first amendment rights as much as they could,” Grisham said in a Facebook post. .
“Hundreds of children heard the message and many parents too,” he added. “It is very revealing for a society to go so far in protecting a LIE. Going so far to try to protect children from hearing the truth. “No wonder our country is in trouble.”

Before his stunt, Grisham posted a twisted version of the Christmas poem “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” where the owner shoots Santa with the final line “Santa is DEAD, but Christ is ALIVE!”
In a separate Facebook post, Grisham announced that even more Grinches would take to the streets to “preach” the same message he had this week, even asking for money to help feed and feed others.

On his Facebook, Grisham says he is “in an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, first and foremost, above ALL things. I profess his name before men.”
“I am the pastor of a small group of street preachers who bring the Gospel to those who do not want to enter a church,” he said.
Santa Claus, the Christmas figure Grisham has complaints against, is based on the religious figure of Saint Nicholas known to the Dutch as Sinterklaas, one of the inspirations for the jolly icon.
