Grusha began her career playing supporting roles in the television industry. She rose to fame after playing Devyani Seth in the TV show Tara aired in 1995. She became a household name after playing the role of Lalita Devi in Star Pus’ TV show Kehta Hai Dil. She was also nominated in the Best Actress in a Negative Role category at the Indian Telly Award for this role. Later, Ella Grusha worked in several TV shows including Sansaar, Lipstick, Siya Ke Ram, etc.
