However, even with all the glass-walled buildings towering over the main city, Gurugram has its defining flaws. Twitter user Rahul Raj took to the platform and compared the NCR city to other megacities in the world and entertained people online.

In his tweet, Raj noted that the city of Delhi-NCR was much like Las Vegas in the US, but without the drainage system. He added that the city of Haryana was Singapore without the discipline exhibited by its citizens, to keep the city clean.

Raj also compared Gurgaon to New York, mentioning that it was a lot like the American city but without its infrastructure. He maintained that it was San Francisco without innovation, Tokyo without cleanliness, London without history, Switzerland without good chocolate and cheese, and Paris without street life.

Gurgaon is Vegas without sewage, Singapore without discipline, New York without infrastructure, San Francisco without innovation, Tokyo without cleanliness, London without history, Switzerland without good chocolate and cheese, and Paris without street life.

The internet agreed with the man analogy

With his short Gurugram analysis, the Twitter user summed up all the problems facing the city’s residents. People on the internet agreed with Raj and his analogy. One user weighed in on the analysis, adding that the city was first and foremost Beijing with no well-built roads.

Sabse pehle Beijing no Road hai

While one summed up Raj’s tweet and wrote: “Gurgaon has no drainage system, discipline, infrastructure, innovation, cleanliness, history, chocolates and cheese, no street life.”

Dr. Gurgaon has no drainage system, no discipline, no infrastructure, no innovation, no cleanliness, no history, no chocolates, no cheese, no street life. Rahul couldn’t write this because… Maharaj ji!

One more sarcastically added that Gurgaon is the best city in the world but struggles with power shortage issues.

Gurugram is the best city in the world without electricity too.

Another wanted to correct Raj’s statement, noting that the city did not lack history as he claimed in his tweet, but rather had a rich past of some 400 years.

It wasn’t made yesterday…it’s 400 years old….

While one user offered information to the OP and corrected him when they pointed out that the city name had been changed to Gurugram from Gurgaon.

Gurgaon is Gurugram! 🤷‍♂️

Another user compared the experience of living in the city to hell without fire or demons.

One called it a city of lakes, but hilariously kept how these lakes online appear after a long rain gracing the city, pointing out the city’s failed drainage system.

It is the city of lakes where the lakes appear only during the rains! The millennial city has some meta verse element in its DNA whereby some of the features are visible on certain days of the year!
