Gurpreet Kaur was born in Chandigarh, Punjab. He belongs to a Punjabi Sikh family. Kaur started her career as an actress with the romantic Punjabi television drama show Kamli Ishq Di, which aired on Zee Punjabi in 2020. The show is a remake of the Zee Marathi television series Lagira Zala Jee. She starred alongside Anmol Gupta in the Zee Punjabi television series Geet Dholi as Geet in 2021. It is based on the Bengali soap opera Jamuna Dhaki.
