Who is Hayden Gipson?
The Middleburg community is mourning 16-year-old Hayden L. Gipson, who sadly died on Monday, November 13 after suffering injuries in a car accident. Hayden, a student at Middle-West High School, was passionate about basketball and wanted to play for the next bowling team. Hayden worked at Burger King in Middleburg and in the shoe department at the Susquehanna Valley shopping center. He was a Burger King employee in the past. Hayden was comfortable fishing, exploring on his four-wheeler, and going on motorcycle adventures with his father when he wasn’t at school or work. His family and friends knew how much he loved sloths.
Whatever his siblings’ fun antics, Hayden always had a particular place in his heart for his siblings. On Friday, Nov. 17, from 9 to 11 a.m., friends and family can pay their respects while visiting the Beavertown Missionary Church of God, 1693 Creek Rd., Middleburg. Following burial at Glendale Cemetery in Middleburg, the funeral ceremony will be held at the same location at 11 a.m., presided over by the church pastors. Joshua G. Gipson of Middleburg and Beth A. (Bingaman) Gipson of Selinsgrove are the parents of Hayden L. Gipson, who was born in Lewisburg on February 12, 2007. He attended Midd-West High School at the time, where he played. He basketball last season and intended to join the bowling team this year. Hayden worked in the Shoe Department at the Susquehanna Valley Shopping Center, and previously worked at Burger King in Middleburg.
