Heeba Shah is an Indian film and television actress. She is recognized as the daughter of legendary actor Mr. Naseeruddin Shah. She is known for her amazing work in Beyond The Clouds (2017) and Haathi Ka Anda (2002). She also played the role of Kalyani Devi, also known as the younger version of Dadi sa, in the popular Hindi daily soup Balika Vadhu.
Birth and early life
Heeba Shah was born on August 20, 1970, to Indian film actor Nassurddin Shah and his first wife Manara Sikri in the Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. After her parents divorced, her mother took custody of her and she went to Iran. Heeba’s primary education was completed in Iran. Her mother died of cancer when she was a teenager and she came to Mumbai. She graduated from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She joined the National School of Drama in Delhi and pursued her acting and film career.

Career
Heeba performed numerous theatrical scenarios. In an interview, she boldly said that she gives priority to theater over commercial films. In 2002, Shah entered Bollywood with Mango souffléfollowed by Hathi Ka Anda in 2002 with the late Irrfan Khan. She made many critically acclaimed films like Missed Call (2005), Q (2014), Beyond the Clouds (2017), Yes Ballet (2020) and Cookie (2020).
On television, she appeared as the younger version of Kalyani Devi, also known as Dadi Saa, in Hindi Daily Soup. Balika Vadhu aired on Colors TV, based on child marriage and orthodox behavior in rural Rajasthan.
