House Republicans introduce bill to block Palestinian refugees from entering the US “to protect US national security”

House Republicans are taking steps to introduce legislation that would prevent the United States from accepting new Palestinian refugees who may arise from the ongoing crisis in Gaza.

Experts told The Post that more than a million such refugees could be created as Israel continues to bombard the Hamas-controlled enclave, one of the most densely populated regions in the world.

Reps. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) and Andy Ogles (R-TN) told Breitbart News they planned to imminently introduce the “Guarantee Zero Admission to Offenders Act” or the GAZA Act to prevent the Biden administration from granting visas to any holder. of a Palestinian passport.

The bill would also prevent the Department of Homeland Security from allowing Palestinians into the United States through the agency’s parole program.

“We cannot allow President Biden to abuse our parole and visa rules to bring unauthorized Palestinians into American communities as he did with thousands of unauthorized Afghans,” Tiffany said in a Posting on X on Saturday.

Some Palestinians infamously celebrated the 9/11 attacks on the United States in their immediate aftermath, and democratically elected Hamas to lead them in 2006.

Israel has vowed to eradicate the terrorist group.
