How Did Mallory Grossman Die?
As per the reports, Mallory Grossman’s parents will receive a settlement amount of $9.1 million from Mallory Grossman’s school district. Mallory Grossman was studying at Copeland Middle School located in Rockaway Township. In 2017, the 12-year-old committed suicide as he could not bear the mental pressure further anymore built by the vicious teasing from some of her schoolmates. The repeated actions of cyberbullying caused the little girl to take her own life. Mallory Grossman’s parents also dragged the board, the principal, and the municipality into the lawsuit. The legal representative of the victim’s family, Bruce Nagel said at that time, “One year ago, on June 14, sixth-grader Mallory Grossman, who attended Copeland Middle School in Rockaway [died by suicide] and she did so after being relentlessly bullied by four of her classmates.” The court announced its decision on July 26. Dianne and Seth Grossman are the parents of Mallory Grossman. They started a foundation “Mallory’s Army Foundation” to aware people of bullying culture developing at the schools.
