The grateful passenger afterwards posted the account of this good act on Reddit. While some people found it moving, others reminded everyone that regulations are rules and must not be broken.
A Reddit user posted her incident, stating that she was riding the metro home from Raidurg while feeling quite hungry. She joked with her friends about swiping a juice bottle from someone else’s luggage.
She went on to say that a ‘lovely lady’ sitting nearby overheard their chat and asked if they were hungry. She offered to share her leftover pulihora from lunch and some pomegranates in another container.

The user was hesitant at first, but she accepted the pomegranates. After a little period, the sweet lady left, telling her to keep the package. Recognising the significance of such boxes, the user collected what she could and thanked the kind lady for the rest.
“She was just so sweet, and this literally made my day! I hope we all do random acts of kindness like this. Increases our hope in humanity,” she wrote in her post.
