‘I am catracho’: artist of American parents presumes that he was born in Honduras

Don Ryvcko is a young rap singer who is gaining popularity on social networks for mixing Spanish with English and bragging that he is Honduran.

“El Gringo-Catracho”, as he calls himself, appears proudly in most of his videos showing the Honduran flag and National Team shirts.

In a recent interview he had in a local media outlet, he explained why, despite being Honduran, his physique is more similar to an American.

“My parents are from Mississippi, but they moved to Honduras, so I’m from Honduras, I was born and raised there, I was there for 10 years and I moved to the United States,” he said very proudly.

In this same scenario, he said he felt more identified with the Catracha culture and loved the national cuisine, mainly baleadas, the most internationally known typical Honduran dish.

Don Ryvcko, who sings Christian rap due to his religion, has 114 thousand followers on TikTok, 27 thousand on Instagram and more than 6 thousand on YouTube, where he has just published his most recent hit ‘Santo’.

“I am the coolest Latino, American blood but cora catrachito”, is part of his song “DSF4”, also available on all video platforms.
