The text to alumni further stated: “We understand that everyone has unique connections and networks, and we hope you can help place our students. If you know of any job opportunities or have connections within your professional network that align with the skill set of our 2024 batchmates, please consider recommending them or informing us about possible vacancies. Your support is crucial in maintaining the legacy of IIM Lucknow’s 100% placement record.”

In another tweet, Handa said, “For those who don’t know, IIM Lucknow is one of the old IIMs and is often considered one of the top five universities in the country. They have alumni for decades who are in extremely powerful positions.” “They can help and they will.”

How did people react on the Internet?

Needless to say, the post attracted attention on the Internet, with almost 200,000 views. Some people blamed the government and one user wrote, “Welcome to “Amrit Kaal.”

While others said that it is also the story of several other B-schools. “All B-Schools are facing the same situation, people from IIMC and IIMB are also worried,” another user wrote.

Some asked, “Are companies moving away from the MBA obsession or changing hiring processes?”
