Roshan Vadassery is the man behind Friends’ favorite character Chandler Bing’s AI-powered chatbot. He even posted a video of the same on Instagram.
Why did you create the AI chatbot?
One of his fans asked him in the video if he could create an artificial intelligence (AI) version of Chandler Bing because his mother loved the show: “Can you create Chandler’s AI? My mother still watches at least one episode of Friends every day because she’s a huge fan.”

The user said: “She has been looking very calm for a few days now.” That’s when Vadassery made the decision to develop the chatbot. In Chandleresque fashion, he asked the robot if he could be more caustic.
In its own voice and manner, the AI chatbot responds, “Well, could I be more sarcastic? I guess I could, but then I’d have to bill you more for enhanced sarcasm.”
“The father of memes, I still remember that in the early days of Facebook pages it was about sharing Chandler jokes or wholesome scenes of Monica and their relationship. We forget that there was another person behind the character. A person who helped a lot people with passion and kept a smile as long as he could,” Vadassery wrote in the caption.
