‘It’s very delicious’: Japanese woman sells Honduran coffee in her country

After living two years in Honduras due to her husband’s job, a Japanese woman fell completely in love with catracho coffee and decided to share this wonder with her compatriots.

Upon returning to Japan, he decided to start his own business where he sells coffee, desserts, chocolates and all kinds of variety of products made from the grain.

@midoriestrella0710, who is the daughter of a Japanese man and a Honduran woman, visited the establishment called ‘Puntalto’, where they distribute coffee imported from Marcala, La Paz, to western Honduras.

“Honduran coffee is very delicious, but in Japan it was not well known, so I had the desire to make it known and, of course, make Honduras known,” said the businesswoman, whose name was not revealed.

Likewise, its intention is to remove the image of insecurity that the inhabitants of the Asian country have of Honduras.

According to Midori, the name ‘Puntalto’ is a union between ‘bridge’ and ‘high’, since its owner wants to be a bridge between both cultures.

The catrachos, TikTok users, have thanked the Japanese businesswoman: “we love you, the lady who sells coffee from Honduras” and “God bless your life and business so that it grows even more.”
