Jumping the rope! Shin Fujiyama visits the capital of traditional games in Honduras

The one baptized as “the most catracho Japanese” visited San Marcos, Santa Bárbara, considered the “capital” of traditional games in Honduras.

Shin Fujiyama, who is an influencer and philanthropist, came to the country with the purpose of building a thousand educational centers, however, he has fallen completely in love with its beauty.

It is for this reason that he has dedicated himself to visiting the 18 departments; On this occasion he came to the western municipality to enjoy the traditional games that Hondurans grew up with.

Spinning top, kite, maúles, hopscotch and jumping rope are some of these games, the latter being the one that Shin practiced.

The Japanese competed against a 13-year-old younger catracho to see who could jump the rope for the longest time, obtaining a resounding victory.

“Oh my God!” were the only words he could articulate, as he was tired from jumping for several minutes.

Catrachos on social networks have thanked Shin, not only for the construction of 66 of the thousand planned educational centers, but also for highlighting Honduran culture and those traditions that have been forgotten.
