Career
Kanwar started his career with an antagonist character Kunal in the television show The Buddy Project on Channel V. Later he also had a negative role in the Colors TV show Na Bole Tum Na Me Kuch Kaha. In 2013, he got the opportunity to play the lead role of Vidhaan Nayak in Do Dil Ek Jaan along with Akshay Dogra, Nikita Sharma, Ayaz Ahmed and Shritama Mukherjee. The show is based on a Kashmiri girl who moves with her mother to Mumbai, where she falls in love with a gangster. She later stars in Ek Astha Aisi Bhee as Shiv and Piya Rangreez as Arjun Singh.
