Karnataka Villagers Rescue Leopard Trapped In Well With ‘Fire Jugaad’, Video Goes Viral

Rural villages in India often come into contact with nature. While wild animals have little to no access to the country’s urban settlements, these animals often turn up in rural villages. One such incident occurred recently in Karnataka where a leopard somehow got stuck in a hole without any plan or solution to get out of the deep hole.

When the villagers found out about the situation, they did everything they could to save the leopard and return it to its natural habitat, far from the village.

Twitter user Sahana Singh shared a video of the incident and also shared how the townspeople helped the big cat with a clever trick to get back to where it came from.

The leopard was in serious trouble. The cat was not only frightened by the unknown territory he had ventured into, but things had also gone downhill quickly after he got trapped in the well. However, the villagers came to the cat’s rescue and tried to help him out of the well. The people brought a ladder and placed it inside the pit so that the leopard could use it to climb out of the pit and continue its day.

The leopard was scared, which led the villagers to find a solution

Somewhere in Karnataka. A leopard fell into a well and even when offered a “ladder”, he was hiding inside. So they put a fire stick near his butt, forcing him to climb onto the scaffolding and flee into the jungle. How they rejoice! Man, Nature and Play. 😊 I have it in WA. pic.twitter.com/OBr7kDTmlp

However, the leopard was probably frightened by the circumstances and was hesitant to get out of the hole. To address the unexpected problem, the villagers thought of an ingenious ploy. They brought a long stick and shot one end of it. They placed the fire stick near the leopard’s back in the pit, giving him the push he needed to try to climb the ladder.

Once the leopard was on the ladder, the villagers’ job was about to end. They all rejoiced when the leopard went to his own house.
