Linda of Giffnock, Allan’s mother, paid tribute to her daughter and vowed to never stop fighting for justice. Allan’s mother Linda wrote on social media about her feelings on the fourth anniversary of her daughter’s death. She explained that the police had delivered the heartbreaking news of Katie’s death at her home four years earlier. Linda described the terrifying effect of the experience, which still paralyzes her with memories. She also said that she was on vacation with her husband and her son, highlighting the fact that Katie is always there in spirit for them. She wrote: “Katie: We remember and love you every day.”
