Birth and early life
Maanas Nagulapalli was born in Visakhapatnam, India. His early life was influenced by his family’s involvement in various fields. His father, a former central government employee, and his mother, Dr Padmini Nagulapalli, an educationist and child and women’s rights activist, played an important role in shaping his education. Notably, his mother also served as vice president of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in Hyderabad.
Maanas received his school education from Siva Sivani Public School, Visakhapatnam. After her school years, she pursued a B.Tech. Degree from Gokaraju Rangaraju College of Engineering in Hyderabad.

Career
Maanas made his acting debut as a child artist in the 2001 film Narasimha Naidu. He then acted in films like Veede (2003), Arjun (2004) and others. His first lead role was in the 2011 Telugu film Jhalak directed by Ravi Sharma. Later he worked in Telugu films like Green Signal (2014), Kaai Raja Kaai (2015), Gang Of Gabbar Singh (2015), Premikudu (2016) and Soda Goli Soda (2018).
On television, Maanas played the lead role in Star Maa’s 2021 series Koilamma. He also appeared in shows like Pithrudevobhava, Bhale Chancele on Doordarshan and Deeparadhana. In 2021, he appeared in the film Ksheera Sagara Madhanam as the lead hero. The same year he participated in Bigg Boss Telugu 5 as a contestant.
Personal life
Maanas Nagulapalli got engaged to Srija Nissankara on September 3, 2021. The couple will tie the knot on November 22, 2023.
