Travel blogger Alexandra Blodgett recently visited the South American country of Guatemala and was stunned by the beauty of the place.

Not only did he explore the calm and tranquility of the Latin country, but he also experienced some once-in-a-lifetime moments.

One of those experiences was trying a pizza made on an active volcano. While the popular Italian dish is a delicacy that the world has shown immense love to in the past, the travel blogger’s video took people on the internet by surprise.

In the clip, a native is seen placing a pizza dough prepared with vegetables and cheese toppings in a natural oven. The natives cooked the pizza in the oven in the heat of the active volcano, Volcán Pacaya. To enter the national park, tourists must have a guide. The volcano is still active after the last eruption was recorded in 2021.

The pizza in the clip looked exquisite, like one made in an Italian restaurant in a wood-fired oven. The blogger enjoyed the delicacy as she sat among the blackened rocks of the volcano. She used what looked like a huge pumice stone as a table and she enjoyed the cheesy, sour taste of the pizza as she gazed out at the country from the top of the active volcano.
