Mahnaz Damania was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in a Parsi family. She completed her Masters in Psychology from St. Xavier University, Ahmedabad. After leaving work, she moved to New York to pursue an acting course at Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She then participated as a contestant in the reality television show Kingfisher Supermodel 2. Later, she debuted in Bollywood with the role of Alia Bhatt’s sister Swati in the film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
