Maithili Thakur was born on July 25, 2000 in Madhubani, Bihar. Maithili has grown up in the musical environment since she was little. Her father’s name is Ramesh Thakur, who is a music teacher, and her mother’s name is Puja Thakur. Besides Maithili, her family includes her elder brother Rishbha Thakur and younger brother Aayachi Thakur. Maithili affectionately called Tannu, Ayyaki as Habbu and Rishabh as sunny in the family.

Career
Maithili had a passion for music since she was little and started singing when she was 4 years old. Her grandfather started teaching her music. Her younger brother, Ayachi, is also learning music together.
Maithili auditioned at Saregamapa Little Champs for the first time in 2011, but unfortunately she was rejected. After which, she auditioned in many shows but never made it to the Top 20 finalist. In the year 2017, Maithili was selected in the singing reality show called Rising Star. In that show, they got 94 percent marks for its good performance. During her performance, she sang Bhore Bhaye songs. Apart from this, Ella Maithili has been a five-time winner in the Delhi State Classical Music Competition.
Maithili wants to become a successful playback singer in Bollywood.

Maithili Thakur participated in the reality television show “Rising Star” that appeared on Zee. Maithili remained in second place, losing the title by just two votes. Some people spoke about the outcome of this program and supported Maithili accusing him of fraud. Filmmaker Shughit Sarkar also demanded that the children’s reality show be suspended.
