Manal Issa was born on March 9, 1992 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. He attended the Angers Institute of Engineering Sciences and Techniques (ISTIA) in France. Manal began her career as an actress in 2015, through the film Peur de rien as Lina, directed by Danielle Arbid. The following year, she starred as Sabrina in Nocturama. She played important roles in films such as Ulysse & Mona and Deux fils.
Manal gained immense popularity by playing the character of Sarah Mardini in the 2022 Netflix film The Swimmers, starring alongside Nathalie Issa. The story is based on two young sisters who fled Syria as refugees and competed in the pool at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
