Biography
Manu Maharaj was born on October 20, 1974 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, in a Brahmin family. He completed his initial education in Shimla. After which he completed his B.Tech from IIT Roorkee. After which he completed a master’s degree in environment from Jawahar Nehru University in Delhi. At the same time, he was also preparing for public service.
In the year 2006, Manu Maharaj scored very well in the civil services examination. He secured IAS rank in this exam but Manu Maharaj selected IPS rank. Since he was a child he wanted to be an IPS officer.
