Masked thieves hijack Connecticut man’s Aston Martin as he entered his garage in brazen heist caught on camera

A pair of daring thieves stole a man’s Aston Martin on Sunday just as he was putting the wheels into his garage in an affluent Connecticut neighborhood, footage shows.

The masked duo ran after the owner as he drove the expensive sports car into his garage in Westport and pulled him out of the blue convertible just before 4 p.m., according to video released by Westport police.

At first, the robbers demanded the man get out of the vehicle.

When he refused to move, one pulled him out and threw him on the floor of his garage, according to the clip recorded with a Ring camera.

As the homeowner struggled with the suspects, he yelled for someone inside the home to call the police.

The pair fled in the Aston Martin and are believed to have followed their victim to his home on Bayberry Lane in a stolen dark blue BMW, Westport police said.

Both cars were seen fleeing north on Route 8.

The vehicle’s owner suffered minor injuries but refused medical attention, police said.
