Emma Busse is an American singer and songwriter. She rose to fame after participating in the singing reality show American Idol. The show features judges such as Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. She is originally from Vancouver, British Columbia.

Emma Busse, 20, is an aspiring singer who moved to New York City to pursue her passion and make her dreams come true. Her mother, Rina, a classically trained singer and theater actress who teaches musical theater in Burnaby, has been a driving influence on Emma’s musical journey.
In addition to singing, Busse enjoys ballet and theater, and graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy with a bachelor’s degree in Musical Theater in May 2022.

Before the show
Busse had a brilliant performance at the Notre Dame Regional High School talent show in 2020, singing Labrinth’s “Jealous,” which earned her an impressive response from one of the judges who expressed admiration for her vibrato and said that He is a star with a bright future ahead of him.
