Meet the 98-year-old man who still works 7 days a week
Grier, who is from Chicago, recently spoke to Fox 32 about his work ethic. He is believed to be one of the country’s oldest full-time employees. The 98-year-old man is an employee of Victory, a manufacturing company.
Every day, he creates molds for various trophies and awards. “It makes me happy. I’m able to bond with things I’ve associated with before. It’s a habit,” she explained.
When asked why he works seven days a week at 90, he said it makes him happy. Grier feels that keeping a good attitude about everything is the key to his long life. “It’s how you look at them and deal with them that makes them no longer a problem,” he explained.
“Maybe it’s because of my long years of life and the things I’ve seen that most things are funny,” he continued.
Victory President Eric Priceman praised the 98-year-old for his dedication and hard work over the years. “He’s someone who’s been here for so long, teaching us everything, teaching us everything,” Priceman explained.

However, this isn’t the first time Grier has spoken out about her work ethic. In a July 2020 interview with Fox 32, he discussed working seven days a week during the epidemic, joking that it was “enough” time for him.
Despite the pandemic, he continued to visit the Victory plant to teach new employees, according to the publication. He, too, has been with the company since some of the machinery was upgraded several times.
