Mona debuted in 2003, in the popular comedy show Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin and gained prominence through it. The show continued till 2006, after which she was seen in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa and she emerged as the winner of the show. Mona has done many television serials like Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi as Raunaq Kapoor, Kya Hua Tera Vaada as Mona Pradeep Singh, Itna Kro Na Mujhe Pyaar, Pyaar Ko Ho Jane Do, etc.
Additionally, actress Mona has hosted several reality shows in the industry. She was the main host of the Femina Miss India fashion show and the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa seasons 2 and 4, Star Ya Rockstar. Mona has done several non-fiction works, including comedy shows such as Comedy Classes and Comedy Nights Live. She participated in Meethi Choori No. 1 but failed to win.
