The grieving mother whose newlywed daughter was killed by a drunk driver while she and her new husband were riding in a golf cart on their wedding night claimed Tuesday that she is being “bullied” amid a bitter real estate battle with her son-in-law.
In a series of videos chronicling her grief over the loss, Lisa Miller said her grief had been exacerbated by others weighing in on the tragedy that took the life of Samantha “Sam” Miller, 34, in April.
“I never thought that if I ever lost my son, I would be harassed on top of the pain I suffer…” Miller captioned the TikTok clip.
The video featured a still image of a man walking alone through a meadow to the tune of “I’ll Stand By You” by the Pretenders.
A quote that appears in the scene reads: “Dear Sam, In the end, people will judge you anyway. Don’t live your life impressing others. Live your life impressing yourself.”
When contacted by The Post about the source of the harassment, Miller said she had “no comment.”
The video was released just one day after it was revealed that Miller had filed a petition to remove his son-in-law Aric Hutchinson as personal representative of his daughter’s estate.
The filing cited “issues of possible fraud,” implying that the couple’s marriage, which had already lasted hours, might not be valid.
Although Miller’s attorneys claimed the move was to protect the estate, Hutchinson’s legal team criticized the grieving mother’s motion as “frivolous” and “morally questionable.”

Tuesday’s video appears to be the latest in a series of notes Miller wrote to her late daughter to document her journey through grief.
Days earlier, Miller shared a handwritten note addressed to Sam Miller expressing his fear of spending his first Christmas without her.
Miller also shared a video of her crying in the parking lot of a dollar store as she recounted a “trigger” earlier that day that sent her spiraling into grief.
She told her 6,000 followers that she broke down over lunch with her surviving daughter, Mandy, while talking about the act of removing Sam Miller’s name from her emergency contact forms.
“And it broke my butt to explain it to Many because it was almost like he was taking her away again,” Miller said.
“I have no shame in crying or sharing this with you because I want you to know that it’s okay… One little thing can send you to the bottom of the abyss and that’s what pain is.”

Another video captured the couple enjoying the “mother-daughter” dance at the doomed wedding, with the host announcing her as “the most important woman in the bride’s life.”
Miller’s social media channel does not discuss the ongoing legal battle against his son-in-law.
Hutchinson had assumed control of his girlfriend’s estate after an alleged drunk driver rear-ended the golf cart in which they left after their wedding reception on April 28 in South Carolina.

A Charleston County probate judge recognized the validity of their marriage on May 1, after Sam Miller had been dead for three days and while Hutchinson was still in a hospital recovering from injuries he suffered in the collision.
Miller previously said she had no interest in questioning the validity of the couple’s new marriage, but was pressured into making the decision by accusations that Hutchinson did not want to share the inheritance, which she said would have gone against Hutchinson’s wishes. his daughter.
Hutchinson’s team rejected the allegations, alleging that Miller rejected offers for half of his daughter’s estate.

“Aric and I agreed several times that Sam would want us to do everything together since we are the two most important people in his life,” Miller said.
His attorney also filed, withdrew and refiled a motion to intervene in a wrongful death lawsuit Hutchinson filed against local bars for serving the accused drunk driver, a lawsuit that is expected to garner a high settlement.
The driver, Jamie Lee Komoroski, was charged with reckless vehicular manslaughter and three counts of felony driving under the influence.
Komoroski will be released from jail on bail in March if prosecutors have not put the 26-year-old on trial by then, the Post and Courier said of a judge’s recent order.
