Namratha Gowda was born on April 15, 1993 in Bangalore, Karnataka, in a Hindu family. He studied at Acharya NRV School of Architecture. After graduation, he joined the Kannada television industry and appeared in the television show Krishna Rukmini in the year 2011. He later got the opportunity to play the lead role of Hima in the popular Kannada serial Putta Gowri Maduve. In 2020, she appeared as a lead actress in Zee Kannada show Naagini 2.
