A new story is taking over social networks, since in the last few hours a video on Tiktok of the case of Neri Sánchez de los Santos is trending, since it is about a Mexican who was supposedly offered to Santa Muerte by her parents.
Likewise, Neri’s case began on November 1, 2023 in San Martín Texmelucan, Mexico, when it was reported that the seven-year-old minor had disappeared in a catrina parade.
However, the inconsistency of the case led the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Puebla to arrest Neri’s parents (named Yari and Ulises Manuel) after it was proven that both lied in their statements and hid the whereabouts of their daughter.
Likewise, the mother reported the disappearance on November 2, arguing that Neri had disappeared the previous night, however, a security camera captured the mother with a doll dressed as her daughter described.

Likewise, Neri’s brothers stated that they had not seen their sister for three months. Also, the authorities raided the parents’ house and found an altar of Santa Muerte with a note asking for help.
Currently, the parents are detained by the authorities and the brothers were taken to the DIF, waiting for the case to be clarified.

The State Attorney General’s Office, the Secretariat of Citizen Security, Municipal Firefighters and Civil Protection, and the Canine Care Center (Cacez), were the entities responsible for raiding the home of Neri Sánchez de los Santos.
