A new attack destroyed a Houthi rocket launch site in a Red Sea port city in Yemen, according to sources in the Iran-backed group.

A Houthi military source told AFP that the location hit was one “from where a Houthi rocket was launched” and was on the outskirts of the city of Hodeida.

The source said it had not been determined whether it was an air or sea attack.

A US official told Al Arabiya that the British US military was not behind the latest attack.

Saturday’s attack came less than a day after the Navy destroyer USS Carney fired Tomahawk missiles at a Houthi radar site that had been used to target ships crossing the Red Sea, U.S. Central Command said. .

On Thursday, US and British military forces carried out airstrikes against 60 Houthi targets in 28 locations, killing five and wounding six others.
