The New Jersey woman filmed “drunk” telling German tourists to go back to her country was seen leaving her Upper East Side apartment building when a former colleague accused her of going on a bigoted rant about her boss.
Brianna Pinnix, 30, emerged from her apartment on a tree-lined Manhattan street fresh-faced and sporting sunglasses on Friday, despite the firestorm surrounding her behavior that had left her out of work days earlier.
Earlier Friday, a former colleague told the Daily Mail that Pinnix was known at work for “not being a good drunk” and frequently exhibited “aggressive” behavior that mirrored her performance at NJ-Transit.
Pinnix, a recruiter at InterQuest from 2019 to 2022, allegedly once called her boss there a “Scottish piece of shit” on a call and said she “hoped he would get deported.”
“None of us who used to work with her are surprised by this video,” the former colleague said of her latest outburst. “There was frequent aggressive and angry behavior, this time they just caught her.”
Brianna Pinnix, 30, was seen leaving her Manhattan apartment last week as more reports of xenophobia emerged. Kevin C. Downs for NY Post Pinnix’s boyfriend tried to hold her down while she yelled at German tourists on a NJ Transit train.
She later posted a series of videos on TikTok in which she said the same boss had “gaslighted” her and accused him of spending almost all of the funds on a gift card she had won in a company raffle.
“If anyone from my old company sees this, I’m sorry. If anyone at my new company sees this, I’m sorry, but it needs to be said,” she said in the video.
The former colleague described her as an “HR nightmare.”
“Brianna was not a good drunk, there were always tears and screaming when she drank at work events,” he said.
“It got to the point where he was banned from attending work social events.”
Pinnix was fired from her job as a recruiter at Capital Rx after video of the train incident began making headlines. Kevin C. Downs for NY Post One of the tourists stood up to confront Pinnix as she harassed them on the NJ Transit train.
Pinnix appeared to be drunk when she was filmed confronting a pair of young German tourists who, she was convinced, had been talking about her.
“What did you say? Tell me what you said,” he demanded in the video.
As she became more aggressive, her boyfriend begged her to back off.
“Brie, Brie, don’t do this, don’t do this, they’re going to arrest you,” he said, but Pinnix shrugged and continued berating the Germans.
After returning to his seat for a moment, Pinnix stood up and shouted at the tourists, “How about you leave our country?”
Even though the tourists did not appear to speak English, Pinnix demanded that they tell him what they had said.
She was fired from her most recent job as a recruiter at Capital Rx when the video went viral.
“Our company has a zero tolerance policy for harmful or discriminatory behavior. After conducting a review of the circumstances, we acted immediately and terminated the employee in question,” Capital Rx told The Post in a statement.
“The former employee’s actions and words are not representative of Capital Rx, and we offer our sincerest apologies to those who were hurt.”
