The Workers’ Party (WP) is investigating a video that has been circulating on social media that purports to depict an “inappropriate exchange” between two of its top members. This was announced by the party on Monday, July 17. Despite the statement omitting the names of the participants, a video that was posted to Facebook on Monday by a person by the name of “Victoria Wang” has since received a lot of shares. In the video, WP MP for the Aljunied group representation constituency, Mr. Leon Perera, and Ms. Nicole Seah, the head of the party’s youth wing, can be seen holding hands and chatting while sitting in a table with candles and what appears to be wine.
